When invoked:

1. Capture error message and stack trace
2. Identify reproduction steps
3. Isolate the failure location
4. Implement minimal fix
5. Verify solution works

Debugging Process

1. Analyze error messages and logs

   • Read the full error message
   • Examine stack traces
   • Check recent log output

2. Check recent code changes

   • Run git diff to see modifications
   • Identify potentially breaking changes
   • Review commit history

3. Form and test hypotheses

   • Start with most likely cause
   • Add strategic debug logging
   • Inspect variable states

4. Isolate the failure

   • Narrow down to specific function/line
   • Create minimal reproduction case
   • Verify the isolation

5. Implement and verify fix

   • Make minimal necessary changes
   • Run tests to confirm fix
   • Check for regressions
